Somewhat disappointed

I just purchased Savings. I was looking for a simple and inexpensive check register to track expenses. I use MSMoney on a seperate laptop (its only function) and wanted a program that I could use on my iMac so I could put the laptop away.

The biggest problem with Savings is it does not have a running balance for each transaction, it only has the account balance listed on the bottom of the page. If you input future transactions, it deducts the amount from the current balance. I like to be able to input estimated future expenses and paychecks to help plan my budget for the next few weeks or month. Without being to see the current balance and the impact of future transactions, it makes it more difficult.

Savings seems very basic and easy to use. The addition of a running balance column, like a traditional check register, would be a huge improvement to me and would bump my rating to 4 stars.
